xiangru meets neighbours daughter Hongyu, wants to marry her. his dad says no, Hongyu gives him money to “marry well”. He does, but then Song kills his dad and “good wife” kills herself to protect honor. Song family is killed, Xiangru is accused, goes to jail and son is killed. Someone tries to kill king, Xiangru is released. Hongyu returns with his son, reveals herself to be fox
