backflow prevention device
A device used to protect the water supply from contaminated and undesirable substances entering the water supply system.
indirect drain
A waste pipe that does not connect directly to the drainage system but conveys liquid waste by discharging it into a plumbing fixture, such as a floor drain or floor sink, that is directly connected to the drainage system.
expansion joint
A joint that separates adjoining sections of concrete to allow for movement caused by expansion and contraction of the concrete.
backflow preventer

scupper
