What is Anaerobic Training?
Any activity preformed at a high enough intensity that your body can’t provide the necessary energy to complete it with oxygen intake alone
What is Dynamic strength?
Known as isotonic training. Exercises that involve movement. (Push-ups, squats, stairs)
The ability to exert muscle force repeatedly or continuously over time
What is dynamic strechting?
The purpose is to warm up the body orthopedically, cardiovascularly
and thermally
Components of fitness
Strength, Power, Aerobic Training, Anaerobic Training, Speed, Plyometrics, Agility, Mobility
What are the 6 classed of nutrients?
Carbs, protein, fats, vitamins, minerals, water
3 types of anaerobic exercises?
Calisthenics, isotonics, isometrics
What do carbs do?
Provide the body with glucose (blood sugar), the most important source of energy, supports bodily functions and physical activity.
