They had restored economic security. The Retenmark was introduced which restored stability and confidence in the middle class.

It led to the Weimar in 1923 agreeing to start paying reparations again and called off the strike.
What did paying off reparations lead to?
The start of her move towards international acceptance and encouraged ways of helping Germany with her repayments.
When was the Dawes Plan written?
1924.
What did the Dawes Plan do?
The Reichsbank reorganised under allied supervision. Germany received a loan of 800 million gold marks to help kick start her economy. The system of reparations was made more flexible, depending on the state of the German economy.
