this framework to bring up the children and subsequently to prepare
the younger people to form families of their own
First stage of family
a first stage, the couple needs to adapt to coexistence and through
these coexistence to set the basis for the development of an appropriate
environment where they will grow emotionally together have children and
form their own new family

• The increasing number of single-parent families, the fact that the
child is brought up with only one parent, also can have a negative
impact to the overall emotional and psychological development of the

can be avoided only if both parents are mature enough to overcome grunches and negative feelings against each other and collaborate in order to maintain a balanced relationship where the child will continue to receive from them,

Why should physicians be aware of family difficulties?
- Physicians usually need to be aware of the family difficulties their patients
experience as by recognising these difficulties can guide them to seek
appropriate help. - This way not only will contribute to the stability of the unit but also to the
better understanding of the way by which family problems can lead to any current problems they may experience.
