What is the Discoid/Cleiod Carver used for?
Used for carving restorative material on occlusal surface
What is the Hollenback Carber used for?
Contours or removes excess materials on the interproximal surfaces
How long does Amalgam stay soft?
24 hours it will be soft enough for you to carve it
Checkng Occlusion - the ideal outcome?
Heavy blue marks will appear on any high spots on the new restoration
If one area appears lighter or darker the patient’s bite is incorrect and needs to be adjusted
