Filling - eat & drink as normal after the freezing wears off (filling is completely set), if the bite feels off after freezing wears off, call the office
Tooth may be sensitive to hot or cold for a few days . If the sensitivity gets worse - call the office
Shade maybe off for the next 2-3 hours as the tooth is dehydrated
Composite fillings are slightly porous and can become stained over time by coffee, tea, or tobacco. Usually these stains can be removed during the dental cleaning.
Show the patient the restoration with a hand mirror and ask if they have any questions or concerns.
