A
- Disulfiram (Antabuse)— alcohol exposure = negative symptoms *aversion therapy
- Naltrexone – opiod that suppresses cravings
- Acamprosate - helps with anxiety, dysphoria, restlessness and cravings

- Naloxone (narcane)— must be administered every few hours– side effect of aggression & violence
- Nalmefene – longer withdrawal period > 4 weeks

- Methadone – decreases cravings, replaces opioid w/o high, can still overdose
- Clonidine
- Buprenorphine – used for detox long term
