Manager communication:
Communication champion:
1-The process by which information is exchanged and understood by two or more people, usually with the intent to influence or motivate behavior.

Communication style, age, social class, language, culture, channel richness
Communication Channel:
Channel Richness 3 influence:
-Medium by which a message is carried from one person to another.
1-the ability to handle multiple cues simultaneously;
- the ability to facilitate rapid, two-way feedback; and
- the ability to establish a personal focus for communication.
Routine: low channel richness needed
Non-Routine: High channel richness needed
6 things to do when using a digital-channel:
Combine high-tech with high-touch.
Consider the circumstances.
Mind your manners.
Read TWICE before you hit “Send.”
Know what’s off limits.
Get a second opinion.
Non-Verbal communication:
Messages transmitted through action and behavior. Managers are watched, and their appearance, behavior, actions, and attitudes are symbolic to others.
