Pathophysiology for increased mucus in lungs - clinical signs

A
  • Cough
  • Wheeze
  • Dyspnoea (shortness of breath)
  • Increased RR
  • Increased HR
  • Increased BP
  • May have fever
  • Blood tests?
    • ESR elevated
    • CRP elevated
  • ABGs (arterial blood gas) - lower
  • Reduced function
