When did the last redidential school close?

Who were the Recollets? How were they involved in residential schools?
A French order in New France in the 1620s-1680s. They established boarding schools for both European and Indigenous children. Marked the start of the idea of residential schools.
What was the Davin Report?
A report published in 1879 which advises the Canadian government to institute a boarding system for indigenous children under the church.
What was the 60’s scoop?
When residential schools started to close in the 1960s, thousands of Indigenous children were taken from their homes by social workers and placed in foster homes, typically under white parents.
