Define a habit

Higher order habit that involves sequencing and combining processes, procedures, steps of occupations

Define a role
Normative models for behaviour shaped by culture and society

Occupational development is the gradual change in occupation behaviours over time, resulting from the growth and maturation of the individual in interaction with the environment

Occupational competence involves participating in a range of occupations to meet the standards expected of one’s valued roles, so as to sustain a pattern of occupational behaviour that is productive and satisfying
Define the two stages of sleep
Rapid eye movement sleep (REM)—most dreaming occurs
Non-rapid eye movement sleep (NREM or Non-REM).
How does sleep change throughout a life time
Becoming shorter and lighter with aging.
Sleep latency changes little over the life course (time it takes to fall asleep).
Time in restorative deep sleep drops off
