globalization
three main aspects of globalization:
economic, political and cultural

economic globalization
the exchange of capital, goods, and services between entities from different countries.
international trades
Benefits of international trade:
- Lower prices
- Better quality
- More employment
- Specialization
defined as governmental or political actions that take place beyond the national level. It involves cooperation between two or more national governments that share the same interests.
Political globalization
defined as the transmission of cultural elements from one culture to another. These cultural elements are carried over and absorbed from one culture to another, contributing to the constant evolution of world cultures.

the structure of the relationships between members of a society
social organization
defined as practices that are observed by members of a group and are passed down from one generation to the next
customs and traditions
one of the most influential parts of a culture and as such, it is one of the first elements that get transmitted when different cultures converge.

communication via written or spoken words.
language
the expression of human creativity is another major element of culture. It gives a culture a distinct look and sound.

United Nations
World Trade Organization
Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)
European Union
under the United Nations are specialized agencies that carry out different functions that are considered important on an international level. These agencies include:
World Bank
World Health Organization(WHO)
United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)
an international financial institution that provides loans to developing countries
World Bank
