PATIENT COUNSELINGS
- complete FULL course of therapy, even if start to feel better
- avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medication AND for three days after finishing therapy
- ER should be taken on empty stomach
- IR can be administrated with food to minimize stomach upset
- patients taking warfarin should be informed to contact their warfarin prescriber to inform them of the drug therapy
