Why is aetiology Causes important in sports therapy?
Action to prevent sports injuries should be based on the knowledge of etiological factors that contribute to increased injury risk.
How could you separate aetiology into different groups?
It is only when aetiological factors and injury mechanisms are acknowledged, that preventative measures can be identified and correctly implemented.
Does aetiology vary across sport?
If a cause is not identified= the associated preventative measure can not be utilised.
