Developing high-quality interactivy systems, products and services that fit in with people and their ways of living.
What is a device ecology?
To look at a part of the world through an interdisciplinary lens, focusing on the organisms and how they interact with one another and their environment.
Give an example of an ecology device?
Apple Watch, FitBit and Smart Clothes
What does the UX designer need to understand?
Possibilities that exist for new forms of interaction
With fixed devices or mobiles
For people on their own
For connecting people to each other
Through text messages or through animation video

What does machine-centred mean in terms of design?
Machines are: precise, orderly, logical, unemotional
What does human-centred mean in terms of design?
People are: creative, compliant, resourceful and attentive to change
Why is safety important?
If the design is bad it could lead to accidents
What is ethical design?
Having the awareness of plagiarising the design i.e taking an image from a website
