Machine guns
There were usually vickers machine guns which needed a crew of three men. Could fire around 500 rounds a minute. Barrel would often overheat
Artillery
Could be divided into two groups. Guns, used to fire directly at targets and Houitzers, used to lob shells at targets from a distance
Gas
Gas filled shells were replaced with gas cylinders. Phosgene gas would slowly kill soldiers who breathed it in. Gas was an unpredictable weapon
Tanks
Male tanks carried heavy guns and were designed to deal with pillboxes and female tanks carried machine guns and were designed to deal with infantry. Tanks were bulletproof and were not stopped by barbed wire. They were slow and could only manage 4mph
