medium wax
wound filler; feature repair, surfacing large cavities; rigid; extensive prep work required- firm and dry surface, basket weave suture
firm wax
material to aid in a firm dry cavity
cavity packs, hypodermic injection of high index fluid/phenol
chemical cauterizing agents, electric spatula, rubber cement, nail polish
soft wax for mucous membranes; most adhesive type
lip wax
tinted; narrow color range; adhesive property
translucent lip wax
great color range; not as adherent; blend well with cream based cosmetics
opaque lip wax
