A
Water quality is defined as “ those physical, chemical or biological characteristics of water by which the consumer evaluates the acceptability of water”.

What is potable water
A
Water that is safe for drinking is called Potable water. The word potable comes from the Latin word ‘potabilis’ meaning drinkable.
