When a stall warning computer detects an AoA vane has exceeded its predetermined value.
Will the stick shaker operate if #2 stall warning computer fails?
Yes, from the left AoA vane and warning Computer 1
Will the stick pusher operate if #1 stall warning computer fails?
No, requires both computers to be operational
What are the conditions that will cause a take-off configuration warning?
When the aircraft is on the ground and one or both power levers advanced above 50% and at least one of the following conditions exist:
- ECU rating selector not on TOP.
- Elevator trim outside of the take-off range.
- Parking Brake lever selected to park.
- One or both condition levers not at Max.
- Flaps extended more than 15 degrees or less than 5 degrees.
Can the take-off warning horn be silenced if flaps are less than 5°?
Yes, with the T/O FLAP switch (located on pilot’s side console) selected from NORM to 0°.
What conditions will activate the Landing Gear Warning horn? 3 sets of conditions. Which one can be silenced and How?
- If any landing gear is not down and locked
- Flaps selected between 15 and 35
- Power levers below 50% torque
- Auto-feather not selected
OR
- Any landing gear not down and locked
- both power levers at or near flight idle
- Airspeed below 130 knots
OR
- Any landing gear not down and locked
- One power lever at or near flight idle and other advanced
- Airspeed below 130 knots
3rd set of conditions can be muted with HORN mute switch next to Gear lever
INCR REF SPEED indicators are not illuminated when:
- INCR REF SPEED switch is selected OFF and the PROPELLOR DE-ICE switch is OFF
- PROPELLOR DE-ICE is selected ON and the radio altimeter is indicating an altitude less than 400ft.
INCR REF SPEED indicators are illuminated and flashing when:
- INCR REF SPEED switch is selected to OFF
- PROPELLER DE-ICE is selected ON
- Radio altimeter is valid and indicates an altitude greater than 400ft for more than 15 seconds
