Warning Lights Flashcards
CABIN DUCT HOT or FLT COMPT DUCT HOT
Supply duct temp > 88 degrees. Overriding full cold signal sent to relevant packs and light extinguishes when temp <82 degrees.
CABIN PACK HOT or FLT COMPT PACK HOT
Temp >207, shuts off both bleed air supply systems (or the single system in the 100).
1/2 BLEED HOT
Temp >290 degrees, in the related bleed air duct, downstream of the PRSOV. (Pressure regulation shutoff valve).
CABIN PRESS
Cabin pressure exceeding 10,000 ft. (RED WARNING)
L/R TRU
Applicable TRU off or failed.
BAG DOOR
Baggage door not properly closed. Secure door if on ground, if in flight, decomp procedure. (RED WARNING)
SERV DOOR
Service door not properly closed. Secure door if on ground, if in flight, decomp procedure. (RED WARNING)
TOUCHED RUNWAY
Whoops…do not pressurise…return to land…receive pineapple…(RED WARNING)
APU
ESU has detected a fault and shutdown the APU. This will happen if it is left on for takeoff.
PRI INV
Inoperative, select AUX Inverter to L.
SEC INV
Inoperative, select AUX Inverter to R.
AUX INV
Inoperative. Switch off.
L/R 26 AC
L/R transformer inoperative.
L/R AC BUS
Bus not powered.
DC BUS
Comes on if BBPU inhibits buses from tying. After 7 s delay, isolates and shuts down the affected DC gen and removes affected battery.
L/R TRU
Inoperative. These can’t be turned on or off, so check CB.
MAIN/AUX BATTERY
Not turned on.
1/2 DC GEN
Offline or failed. Main DC buses auto tie.
1/2 AC GEN
Offline or failed. Var freq buses auto tie.
MAIN/AUX BATT HOT
Battery over 65 degrees. Switch off.
L/R TRU HOT
Overtemping, must be shutoff by pulling applicable CB.
1/2 DC GEN HOT
DC gen windings overheating. Shut off applicable unit.
1/2 AC HOT
Windings overheating. Shut down applicable unit.
PASS DOOR
Pax door not shut properly. Secure on ground, decomp procedure in air.
EMER LTS DISARMED
Lights need to be switched to armed.
FWD EXIT DOOR
Door not shut properly. Secure on ground, decomp procedure in air.
CHECK FIRE DET
Engine fire detected :(, or detector loop circuit malfunction. (RED WARNING)
SMOKE
Smoke detected in baggage area :( (RED WARNING)
RUD PRESS
1/2 rudder pressure actuator failed to decrease when aircraft exceeds 150 knots (140 in 100). Stay below 200 knots.
ROLL SPLR INBD/OUTBD HYD
Hydraulic depressurisation of spoiler extension circuit.
1/2 RUD HYD
Applicable actuator below 900 PSI. Working actuator goes to 3000 PSI and RUD FULL PRESS light comes on.
RUD FULL PRESS
Either actuator has depressurised, other actuator now delivering 3000 PSI. (200 knot max speed)
FLAP POWER
Loss of hydraulic power in flap power unit.
FLAP DRIVE
Main flap drive failure. Secondary drive will operate and can be used for remainder of flight.
FLT DATA RECORDER
Flight data recorder failed or deenergised.
1/2 ENG FUEL PRESS
Boost ejector pump failed, <5.5 PSI. Aux pump ON.
1/2 TANK FUEL LOW
Less than 130 lbs remaining. Approx 11 mins of flight time.
FUELING ON
Refuel or defuel on control panel. Do not take off. Unable to transfer fuel in flight.
1/2 FUEL FLTR BYPASS
Fuel filter restricted or blocked. Check normal engine indications.
1/2 HYD FLUID HOT
Hydraulic system fluid exceeds 109 degrees. Caution light goes out when fluid cools to 95 degrees. Can try actuating a relevant hydraulic system to circulate fluid.
1/2 STBY HYD PUMP HOT
Electric motor temperature exceeds 170 degrees. When cools below 160 degrees the light goes out.
1/2 ENG HYD PUMP
Engine driven hydraulic pump failed, <2000 PSI. Turn on STBY HYD PRESS switch.
PITOT 1/2
Selected off, or failed.
DEICE PRESS
Deice pressure insufficient, <5.5 PSI. Boot to ISO. This can be caused by rapid power reduction.
SIDE WDO HOT
Turn it off.
L/R WSHLD HOT
Overheated, turn to WARM mode.
L/R ELEV HORN HEAST
Heat has failed. Check circuit breaker.
NOSE STEERING
ECU malfunction.
PARK/EMERG BRAKE
Is set. This is good haha.
OUTBD/INBD ANTISKID
Control unit has failed. Check the switch, check the CBs. Anti skid control reduced by 50% (will also come on during system check).
LDG GEAR INOP
:( Must use alternate extension.
WT ON WHEELS
Fault in the PSEU circuit or sensor damaged.
1/2 ENG OIL PRESS
<40 PSI. Engine to be shut down. :(
1/2 ENG MANUAL
ECU failed, or selected to manual.
GPWS
System failed.
1/2 STALL SYST FAIL
Fault detected in system.
PUSHER SYST FAIL
Malfunction, or dump switch has been pushed to relieve pressure on regulator.
