Q

what does Goodhart (2004, 2013)/ Putnum (2007) about the rise of immigration and its influence?

A

immigration can undermine the social cohesion because sharing can conflict with diversity;

ex) Swedish welfare system is so stable but maybe because the society is quite homogeneous
- ethnic diversity does not convince ppl to pay tax and giver support for strangers
