What is tactical site exploitation (TSE)?
the action taken to ensure that documents,
material, and personnel are identified, collected, protected, and evaluated in order
to facilitate follow-on actions

can provide further intelligence for future operations, answer information requirements, and provide evidence to keep detainees in prison
What is the purpose of TSE?
feeds intelligence/evidence up the chain of command to the company and battalion, where it is exploited for immediate operations
When is TSE conducted?
TSE is always an implied task
At what two levels can TSE be conducted?
Hasty - occurs when there is not enough time or the enemy threat is too high
Deliberate - conducted when the unit has enough time and assets to secure a site
