Actions used by society to punish or reward behaviors.

Absolutely prohibited actions.
What are stereotypes.
Inaccurate generalizations about a group.
What are biases?
Personal prejudices that impair judgment.
What is culture shock?
Confusion or anxiety from being exposed to an alien culture or environment.
What is an insurgency?
An organized movement aimed at the overthrow of a government through subversion, propaganda, and armed conflict.
What is counterinsurgency (COIN)?
The controlled application of national power to support the standing government, gain popular support, and defeat an insurgency.
What is the primary objective of a COIN operation?
