Intentional discharge outside of the county
A
The discharging officer shall notify PSC as well as the primary law enforcement provider for that area. Write a use of force 88 when back in the county.

What type of incidents does SIRT handle ?
A
- All intentional PGPD, PGFD, PGDOC officers involved shootings at a person occurring inside county or outside the county.
- All accidental discharges by PGPD, PGFD and PGDOC occurring inside of the county.
- All PGPD accidental discharges occurring outside of the county.
- In custody deaths.
- Incidents where injury is inflicted and death is imminent.
- Canine apprehensions.
- Shootings of animals for reasons other than humanely destroying them.

Post Shooting:
A
Within 72 hrs of receiving notification letter, contact the following- PSD, CPI, & RANGE to re-qual. Must be finished 10 days after the incident.

Firearm discharge with minor injury :
A
Discharging officer writes incident report and CIR.
