On a known pregnant woman. Continually monitored for signs of distress. CIR and incident report required after use.

SGT or above must respond to scene and approve. Transport to PGH, Laurel, or Southern MD. Officer is to ride in ambulance. The WRAP is not used on known pregnant women.

When can road spikes be deployed ?

With supervisory approval. Stolen Auto, DUI, reckless driver, armed and tactical. Not to be used on 2 or 3 wheel motorcycles, ATVs. Shall not be used on ramps, merge lanes or turns.
