Majority Govt
Victorious party holds more than 50% of seats (min. 155). Has to listen to opposition but doesn’t have to obey. The govt can push through their agenda. This is more stable because there isn’t a constant threat of re-election.
Minority govt
Less than 50% or (max 154 seats). Still wins more than their competitors but is now a minority. Less stable because a re-election can be threatened. Govt has to work with opposition and sometimes compromise.
