a person under the protection of a feudal lord to whom he has vowed homage and fealty : a feudal tenant

the buying & selling of Church things (esp. Church offices) usually to a lay person, for financial gain

term used to describe the changing of bread & wine into the body & blood of Jesus Christ that takes place at Mass during consecration by the power of the Holy Spirit & the words and actions of the Priest.
