The ​proportions ​of the chair are ​designed efficiently (ergonomic) and look correct and in proportion to the ​human body. This makes it feel like the chair is fitting in with society. The chair seems to relate to the human frame as it seems to link well and fit the main dimensions of the average human eg. size of the arm rest

The design is a coordinated looking set​. The ​rounded shapes are​ replicated in both the chair and ottoman. This creates a feeling of unity . This is shown in the repeated use of leather over the two pieces

The contrast of colour between the wood and leather is pleasing to the eye. The rounded design of the veneer on the underside makes it easier to view and allows it to look more clean, minimal and precise. This is shown in shell and cushioning of the ottoman
