Six geo-economic factors on which the localization of the cotton textile industry depends are as follows: Climate, Power, Raw Material, Labour, Transport, Markets.
cropping intensity,
t is the ratio of Gross Cropped Area and Net Sown Area.
- Crop rotation can increase cropping intensity.
Biochar
Biochar is charcoal that is produced by pyrolysis of biomass, yet in the absence of oxygen, and is used as a soil ameliorant for both carbon sequestration and soil health benefits. Biochar is a stable solid that is rich in carbon and can endure in soil for thousands of years.
Perennial Crops:
Perennial plants develop longer, more stabilizing roots than annual crops, but they’ve also been shown to be key to sequestering carbon in the soil.
Silvopasture:
It is the intentional combination of trees, forage plants and livestock together as an integrated, intensively-managed system. Inclusion of silvopasture into the farm landscape can greatly enhance the structural diversity of vegetation, which in turn supports a greater diversity of wildlife.

Hydrology: An abundance of water. Prolonged saturation is what creates a wetland
Hydrophytes: The wetland vegetation or plants which have special adaptations for life in permanently- or seasonally-saturated soils
Hydric soils: The saturated soil that forms distinctive, visible characteristics
