How can you select a main page in the Venue software?
Click on any tab along the top of the user interface.

What determines the Mix Engines setting on the System Configuration section?
It is determined by the number of DSP Engine Cards installed in the system.
When is it possible to modify the Mix Engines setting in the System Configuration section?
In the standalone software you can modify this setting. However, on a console, the setting is fixed and displays the actual number of Mix Engines installed.
What Aux/Group configurations are available for Venue? (3)
8 Auxes + 8 Stereo Groups.
16 Auxes + 8 Mono Groups.
16 Auxes + 8 Variable Group.
What main page is used to route inputs and outputs for Venue?
The Patchbay page.
What is the recommended way to label input strips? (9)
- Navigate to Patchbay page.
- Select Inputs sub-tab.
- Click on the appropriate hardware tab (such as Stage).
- Double-click channel name in left hand column of patching grid for first input strip you wish to rename.
- Type descriptive name for channel, corresponding to input list.
- Press Tab to advance to next input strip
- Enter next channel name.
- Continue tabbing through input strips, renaming each channel as needed.
- When finished, press Enter to apply final entry.
How can you combine two mono channels into a single-fader stereo channel? (5)
- Place console into Config mode.
- Click on first channel in Inputs page,
- Shift+Click on the next channel so both become selected.
- Right-Click on either channel
- Select “Make Selected Mono Strips Stereo” from the pop-up menu.
Is combining two mono channels into a single stereo channel a Config mode operation?
Yes.
What are three ways to reposition an input strip using Venue 3.0 software?
Drag and drop.
Move Selected command.
8-channel bank move.
How would you assign multiple channels to the same bus using the Multi-Select function? (4)
- Navigate to main Inputs page.
- Target Input Channel to ACS.
- Press and hold Shift while clicking on additional channel strips.
- Click on appropriate bus assign switch for selected faders.
How would you assign input channels to a group on screen using the Multi-Assign method? (6)
- Navigate to main Outputs page.
- Click on channel strip for group you wish to use, such as Group 1.
- Click Multi-Assign button at bottom of Members section.
- Navigate to main Inputs page.
- Click each Input channel you wish to add to group.
- Navigate to main Outputs page.
- Click Multi-Assign button a second time.
