What happens?
A
Left ventricular pressure is higher than right and so pulmonary flow increases which can lead to pulmonary hypertension and cyanosis in large shunts

A
Often asymptomatic
Pan-systolic murmur

Heart failure symptoms in childhood

A
Indicated by chamber enlargement
