1
Q

Name the respiratory muscles and their position on the body.

Q

Increased Ventilation

A

Means there is increased oxygen supply, which results in an increase in aerobic capacity, and therefore a delay in Lactate Inflection Point

Q

3 Function of the respiratory system

A
  • Gas exchange, where oxygen and CO2 is exchanged, the oxygen is picked up by the capillaries and CO2 is put into the alveoli, which is then breathed out.
  • Temperature Regulation
  • Voice Box
