Severe systemic vasodilation (vasoplegia, vasodilatory shock) with markedly decreased SVR. Severe persistent post op hypotension despite normal or increased CI, low MAP

A
- Activation of contact, coagulation and complement systems
- The activation of leukocytes, platelets and endothelial cells resulting in an IMBALANCE IN THE REGULATION OF THE VASCULAR TONE.
