Ischemic colitis - eg sudden hypotension
radiation colitis - eg following protate cancer tx

Anemia (mixed chronic disease and iron deficiecy) + leukocytosis _ reactive thrombocytosis
Incr. markers: CRP, ESR, fecal calprotectin or lactoferrin

Colonoscopy - diagnostic confirmation + allows to take biopsy.

Anywhere mouth to anus (especially terminal ileus = pain in RLQ)
perianal disease with rectal sparing

Rectum (ALWAYS) and colon
