Patient involuntarily replicates the actions of an examiner

Involuntary hand movements that feel out of the patients control
What is manual groping behaviour?
Patients hand often along with the eyes seems magnetically drawn to follow and manipulate objects after tactile stmulation like incessantly fiddling with buttons or fabric of clothing
What is the grasp reflex?
involuntary grip on objects or stimuli considered normal reflex in infants
What is environmental dependency syndrome?
Loss of autonomous action control with the patient overly reliant on environmental cues for behavioural direction
