Moonshine alcohol was made because it could make money and it was made a night so it couldn’t be detected.
Millions of people became criminals.
Speakeasies were fashionable.
They were also illegal.
Jazz music was becoming more popular and was performed by black musicians.
This brought the two races a little closer.
It was difficult to enforce.
Kramer tried to enforce but was only given $2million.
