- The rise of extremism
- It failed to gain much support in Britain which was partly due to the National Government.
- Oswald Mosley and the BUF were a big racist and antisemitic group who were formed in 1932.
- They were a far left extremist group which meant they were communist.
- Controlling the economic challenge of the depression.
- Unemployment was at 3 million people.
- Many jobs were cut and meant everyone worked even more productively just to keep their job.
- Mass unemployment led to a fall of union members by almost 50%.
