  • It failed to gain much support in Britain which was partly due to the National Government.
  • Oswald Mosley and the BUF were a big racist and antisemitic group who were formed in 1932.
  • They were a far left extremist group which meant they were communist.
  • Controlling the economic challenge of the depression.
  • Unemployment was at 3 million people.
  • Many jobs were cut and meant everyone worked even more productively just to keep their job.
  • Mass unemployment led to a fall of union members by almost 50%.
