They were on low pay and there wasn’t enough so they were easily bribed and prohibition failed
Who was Al Capone?
He was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1899 and established a multi-million dollar organisation in Chicago specialising in bootlegging, gambling and prostitution

What was the Teapot Dome Scandal?
In 1922, Albert B. Fall leased the teapot dome land to his friend Harry Sinclair for $400,000 dollars when it was meant to belong to the navy. He then leased the Elk Hills land to Edward Doherty
When Harding died in 1924, he was arrested for a year and had to pay a $100,000 fine, it was wrong for him to take money, also had to resign.
