How did marriage change for women in the nazi era?
1933 law for the encouragement of marriage- newly married couples given an interest free loan of 1000 marks decreasing by 25% per child if the women gave up her job and didn’t return to the labour industry
1935- Lebensborn “donate a baby to the führer” by having it with an SS member
How were women motivated to have so many Children?
Medals- motherhood cross bronze for 4-5 silver for 6-7 and gold for 8+
