Edge cities are smaller cities on the edge of a city, many in the UK, large cities like Manchester are surrounded by retail and business parks etc.

- Land in the CBD is very expensive as it’s a world city so many businesses want to locate there, resulting in extremely high house prices meaning London is much more expensive to live in than elsewhere in the UK

- Set up the 4 year affordable homes scheme
