A

A

When pollutants come in contact with sunlight, they break down into harmful chemicals which form photochemical smog

Photochemical smog is linked to health problems and respiratory disease.

A

1) Laws: Uk clean air act of 1956 and 1968 introduced smoke control areas where only smokeless fuels could be burned.

2) Alternative fuels: e.g biofuels from plants, has lower emissions and electronic vehicles
