Tell me more about your title (Comanche Springs Rodeo)
The name Comanche Springs was an aquifer of six Springs. The military built Camp Stockton around the springs and would eventually become the town of Fort Stockton. In the center of town a natural spring pool was made around to of the large springs. The springs quit flowing in the 1960s because so many farmers upstream drilled wells that the springs were pumped dry. After 25 years the springs started flowing again in the late winter months.

Modeling
Hi! I’m Amberly Tarrant from Alpine, Texas. I am 13 years old and attend Alpine Middle School. Today I’m wearing my black felt hat, Rhinestones Lipgloss earrings, my favorite pair of flare jeans made by Wrangler and my cowgirl boots. This purple bell sleeve top and fringe vest were made by Blue Ridge Rags with the classic rodeo event, saddle bronc hand painted on the back. I picked this outfit to represent the sport of rodeo.
Dinner
Good evening! I am Amberly Tarrant, the 13 year old daughter of Billy and Ralene Tarrant. I have 2 brothers and I’m the middle child. I am sponsored by Postel Family Credit Union.
A fun fact is my dad competed in the Clay County Pioneer Reunion Rodeo many moons ago and I have family who are Clay County Pioneers.
