What is the Cinch playoffs?
The Cinch playoffs is the top 24 in the playoff series standings compete at Puyallup, Washington. The top 4 from Puyallup and the top 8 from the series standings will compete at the Governor’s Cup the last 3 days of the rodeo season in Sioux Falls, North Dakota.
They compete for $1 million purse. It includes barrel racing and breakaway roping with equal money.
(The inaugural NFR playoff took place at the Puyallup rodeo, at the Washington State fair with top 23 from the standings and the winner of the NFR Open)

My favorite specialty act is Kenny Petet and Whiplash the monkey. I saw him once when I was a little girl at the West of the Pecos Rodeo.
