A go round is when there is more than one round of competition at a rodeo
What is a crossfire?
Crossfire is in team roping when the healer throws the heel loop, it cannot come in contact with the steers legs before the header has control of the steer’s head and the steer’s hips have changed direction.
It is a no time if a crossfire occurs.
This can also be when your horse is in two different leads. One lead in the front and one in back.

A cowboy speeding ticket is when the contestant leaves the box too soon, breaking the barrier and not giving the calf or steer its fair head start which results in a 10 second penalty.
What is a re-ride?
A re-ride applies to all Roughstock events. A judge may offer a clean slate chance on a different horse or bull if a Cowboys score is affected by the stock contractors equipment failure or a horse or bull underperformed.

The PRCA had approximately 1,700 permit holders in 2022 which is more than the association has ever had.

This award honors contract personnel who have been PRCA members for at least 15 years and have committed their lives to the rodeo industry, but have received little recognition for their commitment and contributions.
The first person to receive this award in 2011was Donita Barnes, a PRCA secretary. The PRCA named the award in her honor in 2012.
