What is your Favorite part of a rodeo and why?

My favorite part of rodeo is barrel racing because I get to see how lightning fast those horses go around the turns, in between the barrels and running home. Not only are the horses strong, but the girls have to be strong and be a good jockey to hold on around the barrels, stay in the seat when a horse slips and when trying to pick up a hit barrel.

Why do you think people have a negative image on pageants and what would you do to change the image?

People think it’s all about beauty and appearance, but it’s more. It’s being able to speak in public and having knowledge of current events. In rodeo pageants you also need horse knowledge and good horsemanship skills.
I would tell people it’s more than what’s on the outside. You have to spend time studying and have lots of knowledge.

My role model is Amber Marshall, who plays Amy Fleming on the TV show heartland. In real life Amber is much like her character. Amber loves horses and other animals and wanted to be a veterinarian from a young age. I also love horses, animals and want to be a veterinarian.

Being TikTok famous can be good financially, but being TikTok famous comes with responsibilities such as being a good role model.

I am one of three kids. I am the middle child and only girl. I am a eighth grader who loves to run and loves math. I love horses and rodeo and that’s why I am here competing at the Miss rodeo Texas Princess pageant.

I would create a sweet and sour combination. Lemonade flavored ice cream with chocolate chips and I would name it Coco chip lemonade ice cream.

I would want to have the super power of invisibility so I could skip school during the NFR to go watch the rodeo and maybe do some shopping at the cowboy Christmas.

Sponsors are important to rodeo because they donate money to the rodeo committee and without sponsors the professional sport of rodeo may not exist.

To test a Calculator you can perform valid, simple, arithmetic operations on numbers and compare results with actual results. Divide a number by zero and see if the result is zero. Hitting the clear button should reset the screen to zero. Calculate the square root for a negative number and see the results.

No, this is not good use of tax dollars. This is part of American history that we cannot change. We cannot keep erasing history and think it’s going to change today’s world. The money should be spent taking care of our military veterans and service men and women.
