tenosynovitis of the ADDuctor pollicies longs & EXTensor pollicies brevis syndrome
How should the PT prepare for the Finkelstein Test
Make a frist, insert thumb into fist, then proceed into ulnar deviation
Positive Finkelstein Test indicates?
Sharp pain @ LI5 = tenosynovitis
How should the PT prepare the Phalen Test
bring wrists together in a flexed position & hold for 1 minute
Positive Phalen Test indicates?
Numbness tingling @ 1st,2nd,3rd & 1/2 of 4th digit
Carpal Compression Test how do you test for it?
press on PT’s carpal tunnel (PC7) with the thumbs, one above the other
Positive Carpal Compression Test indicates?
Numbness tingling @ 1st,2nd,3rd & 1/2 of 4th digit
