Upper Extremity Week 2 Structure Information: Branches of Peripheral Nerves Flashcards

1
Q

Median nerve branches

A

Anterior interosseous nerve: M/S/P to flexor pollicis longus, flexor digitorum profundus (digits 2-3), pronator quadratus

Palmar cutaneous branch: S/P to the skin overlying the radial aspect of the palm of the hand

Recurrent branch of the median nerve: M/S/P to flexor pollicis brevis, abductor pollicis brevis, and opponens pollicis muscles

Common and proper palmar digital nerves: S/P to skin overlying digits 1-4
