(adductor part: L2-4 & hamstrings part: L4-S1)

attachments- from the inferior pubic ramus, ischial ramus, & ischial tuberosity to gluteal tuberosity, linea aspera (adductor part), medial supracondylar ridge & adductor tubercle of the femur (hamstring part)

actions- adducts, flexes (adductor part) & extends (hamstring part) hip

innervation- obturator nerve (adductor part) & tibial division of the sciatic nerve (hamstring part)
