Racism Definition
The belief that personality, behaviour, and morals can be traced back to race and/or the belief that one race is superior to another.
Discrimination Definition
When a person is treated differently (not in a good way) because is some aspect of their identity.
Prejudice Definition
Attitude or opinions about a person or group simply because the person belongs to a specific religion, race, nationality or other groups. (Prejudice~ Pre-judging)
Stereotyping Definition
an assumption about what someone will do or how they will behave based on what social groups they belong to/an idea or belief many people have about a thing or group that is based upon how they look.
How can discriminatory attitudes impact someones quality of life?
People assuming you’re something that you are not (self esteem) Limiting your opportunities, getting in trouble with the law, Not fair trial, no one believes you, looking down on you cause your a teen mom/divorced

Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, regardless of race, sex, nationality, ethnicity

Definition of inalienable?

Why are rights important?
Because respect for the equal importance of every human being is the only way the world will have freedom, justice and peace.
What is the declaration of human rights?
Is a list of basic rights which the international common ageed upon which all human beings are naturally and equally entitled to.
Why was the DOHR developed?
Cause they were horrified of what happened in world war 2 and to promote freedom, justice and peace.
How did the DOHR come to be?
When Eleanor Roosevelt wanted to prevent the suffering of thousand people so she gathered different countries.
What types of rights?
Political, Equality, Social, Civil, Economic, Cultural.
Why is the DOHR Important.
For countries to use it to make laws and to make a peaceful world.

What does the Bible say about inherent existence?
Everyone has equal rights and its out job to make it happen.
What are some ways to improve upholding universal human rights.
Give childrens voice more worth. School should get rid of the idea that boys will be boys. We should make support groups.
